The list of Presidential Medal of Freedom Recipients has been released and "President Bush will honor these recipients at a White House ceremony on Wednesday, November 9, 2005."
From the list, there are some notable names worth pointing out...

Vinton Cerf - Father of the Internet, recently hired by Google.
Alan Greenspan - The economics professor and Federal Reserve Chairman.
General Richard B. Myers - Very "popular" man on TV during the Afghanistan and Iraq War.
Paul Rusesabagina - Think Hotel Rwandan.
